External Candidates
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) recognized by the U.G.C.
- Professional Status: Enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law.
- Higher Education: A Postgraduate degree (Master’s) in Law recognized by the U.G.C.
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience at a “Managerial Level” in the field of law within a recognized institution.
Internal Candidates
Current CEA employees can apply if they:
- Meet the external qualifications mentioned above OR
- Have completed at least five (5) years of satisfactory service in a Manager Category (MM) Grade I post relevant to the legal field.
Salary and Fringe Benefits

- Salary Scale: Rs. 140,640 – 15 x 4,100 – 202,140.
- Monthly All-inclusive Package: Approximately Rs. 219,569.00 (as of 01.01.2026).
- Fuel Allowance: 115 liters per month.
- Vehicle Allowance: Rs. 50,000/- per month.
- Professional Allowance: Rs. 25,000/- per month.
