Job Title: Trainee Banking Assistant
Locations: Galle, Negombo, Colombo (branch-wide opportunities)
Key Responsibilities
- Support customer service operations at branch level
- Assist with daily banking transactions
- Learn about product offerings and bank procedures
- Provide administrative assistance to senior staff
- Uphold Amana Bankβs customer-first service standards
Note: Duties may vary by branch and training schedule
Candidate Requirements
To be eligible for the position, candidates typically need the following
Age: Below 23 years
Education:
- GCE Ordinary Level β minimum 6 passes including English and Mathematics
- GCE Advanced Level β minimum 3 passes (excluding General English)
or a relevant Diploma/HND in Management, Finance, or similar
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Strong communication skills β English is essential; knowledge of all three languages (Sinhala, Tamil, English) is an advantage
Good interpersonal skills and passion for customer service
Prior experience in banking, finance, or customer service is a plus but not required.
