Job Responsibilities & Key Functions

Each role combines technical expertise with real-world field or office work:

Map Technological Officers manage digital and thematic maps, maintain survey databases, ensure quality control of map data, and provide updated mapping resources for public and government use.

Photogrammetric Technicians use aerial photos and computer systems to extract accurate geographic data needed for advanced map production.

Remote Sensing Technicians analyze satellite and aerial imagery to extract land information, interpret environmental data, and support digital map creation.

Litho Technicians undertake printing, layout, and technical finishing work for departmental map products and printed survey outputs
